Devon Festivals
Devon has a huge number of festivals and other events, ranging from ancient pagan survivals to modern literary and music festivals. In this book, I have concentrated on those which are oldest and most traditional in character, such as the Green Man Day in Pilton (front cover shot), Wassailing in Sandford and Whimple and Ale Tasting in Ashburton. Read on for Hunting the Earl of Rone at Combe Martin; Widecombe Fair; Pixie Day at Ottery St Mary and more besides. 32 pages, colour photographs.
